General Hospitalist attending related responsibilities

• Direct patient care on the Inpatient Medicine Ward at Bellevue Hospital Center;
• Complete end of rotation house staff evaluation.
• Supervise and teach house staff and medical students;
• Attend multidisciplinary rounds on a daily basis;
• Facilitate the expedient discharge of all patients on the service;
• Review all pertinent lab and test results;
• Perform a full clinical evaluation on all new patients to the service within 24 hours of admission;
• Clinically evaluate all patients on a daily basis and one (1) weekend day per week;

Clinic attending responsibilities 

• Direct patient care in the APCC;
• House staff supervision and precepting in the APCC;
• Review all pertinent lab and test results;
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in journal clubs;
• Complete annual house staff evaluations.
