Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.
In this role, the successful Student Intern participates in a full immersion experience in all aspects of Orthopedic trauma services. Under direct supervision of the faculty of the Orthopaedic Trauma Division, the Student Intern observes all phases of clinical and research processes and gains an in-depth knowledge in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery and the rigors of academic medicine.

Job Responsibilities:

* Shadows attending surgeon in office hours to immerse themselves in orthopedic surgery.
* Provides assistance to research projects in Division.
* Assists in the preparation of journal articles and poster presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current enrollment as a full-time student. Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
