Work Schedule: M-TH 5:00am-2:30pm; Friday 5:00am-9:00am

Overtime schedule: Friday: 5:00am-2:30pm

Job Summary:

Working from a schedule, you will develop daily work programs for CNC systems detailed below; Assists with product design, testing and/or analysis of work; Operates in a team environment; Provides input to design solutions from a manufacturing/tooling standpoint.

Essential Functions:

• Create and maintain a “Standard” nesting library for common parts.
• CNC program development, debug, and validation using RADAN software and Salvagnini proprietary software.
• Set up of manufacturing equipment for new designs, tooling configuration.
• Assist with maintenance, trouble shooting and support of manufacturing equipment.
• Interface with Production Scheduling to be aware of production needs.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Performs frequent quality checks.
• Work within all safety guidelines.
• Cross train on various machines, and platforms.
• Actively seeks out improvement opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs in manufacturing, engineering, and sales.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of CNC programming, set-up, machining and debugging of programs related to Punch Press, Shear, Folding, Plasma cutting equipment.
• Minimum 2 yrs. programming using RADAN or Salvagnini proprietary code; however, company will also consider someone that has experience with Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD, PRO-E and SolidWorks
• Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques, process improvements, and post process work
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment, including suppliers and other non-company personnel. This would include following the policies set in company manual
