Who we are:
In operation since 1994, the Cook Chill Production Center (CCPC) not only serves NYS Office of Mental Health facilities, but we also serve government facilities, private state facilities, and Not-For-Profit agencies. That’s approximately 15,000 pounds of food being delivered annually in refrigerated trucks from Buffalo to Long Island!
What we need from you
Cook Chill is a system which prepares large quantities of food with an extended shelf life. CCPC produces wholesome food that meets the nutritional and budgetary needs of its consumers. Can we count on you to do the following?
- Assist in weighing, measuring and labeling ingredients necessary for recipes.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, chilling, and packaging of food products in accordance with CCPC, local, state, and federal health code standards.
- Clean, sanitize and maintain work areas and food equipment in accordance with CCPC standards before and after each workday.
- Assist in the breakdown and reassembly of food equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
- Wash pots, pans and utensils by hand and machine in the ware washroom
- Unload delivery trucks and place bulk deliveries in appropriate storage areas.
Schedule:
7:AM - 3:30 P.M. Extra hours will be available as needed.
