• Promote and demonstrate safe behavior at all times.

• Take responsibility for the safety of all personnel, including yourself, at Nyrstar Tennessee Mines.

• Tracking and oversight of underground infill delineation programs.
• Ensure drill layout maps and underground drill stations are marked up and prepared for drilling.
• Maintain the assay sample inventory integrity and timely shipments to off-site labs.
• Logging rock chips for geologic and ore grade characteristics accurately into the geologic database.
• Perform QA/QC audits regularly of infill drilling and sampling procedures.
• Complete downhole infill surveys and ensure timely database entry.
• Maintain the infill drilling database and record drilling activities, downtime, water intercepts, and track footages.
• Perform underground grade control activities including face mark ups and provide guidance to the operations team.
• Complete underground drift mapping of ore stopes and development drifts.
• Utilize AutoCAD and/or 3D software as needed to facilitate geologic interpretations and aid in future drill planning.
• Act as primary fill-in for the Mine Geologist as needed.
• Support the geology team as required and to the wider MTS Department.
• Support for and adherence to the Nyrstar Values and behavior expectations.

• Support the Mine Geologist and the wider MTS to ensure future mining targets are met.
• Build a strong relationship with site infill drillers to ensure all aspects of drilling meet the highest standards.

• B.Sc. in Geology or equivalent experience.
• Interest in a career in subsurface production geology.
• Experience in ore control in an underground mine will be an advantage.
• Experience in geological mapping and modelling software packages will be an advantage.
• Experience in the use of Minesight / Vulcun will be an advantage.
• Good practical understanding of underground mining methods.

• 1-3 years of geology experience is preferred.
