The Original Nyle Maxwell in Taylor, TX, has a Service Director opening. You’re the right person for this role if you adopt a coaching and mentoring leadership style, recognize the role of service personnel in delivering excellent customer experiences, and understand the crucial link between satisfied employees and satisfied customers. A successful track record of team building and achieving high CSI scores is essential for consideration.

Essential Duties

• Recruit, Hire, and Onboard service employees
• Train, develop and motivate all service department staff and monitor performance of each employee
• Work with employees to establish and achieve monthly objectives
• Create a departmental culture that will result in a production of a high customer and employee satisfaction
• Verify that all department employees properly document all repair orders according to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and communicate all company and department policies & processes are being followed
• Work with other department managers to ensure a professional and smooth operation between departments
• Maintain and foster a productive relationship with factory representatives
• Developing and implement process to promote dept growth and profitability through production and expense control.
• Develop and foster long lasting relationships with our customers and community
• Ensure the depart is properly equipped and maintained to perform all service task correctly and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

Three to Five years of relevant dealership experience

Two plus years of supervisory experience

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems

Must have a valid driver’s license

Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles

Demonstrated customer service skills

Previous industry knowledge of overall operations
