We are pursuing individual(s) for the position of an IT Specialist. If this position sounds like a good fit and you have a track record of delivering solid results, please apply.

Position Overview
The individual(s) selected for this position will be responsible for procuring and providing technology (laptops, applications, accounts, phones, etc) to Nyla employees. The position will also provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our corporate applications for all Nyla users. This position will be responsible for ensuring Nyla and its employees abide by its cybersecurity plan which ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the systems, and data of the company.

Key Responsibilities
:
  • Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, procurement, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Administers information technology (IT) principles, methods, and cyber/security products to protect and maintain the availability, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability of information system resources.
  • Implements and advises on IT security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of information transmitted both internally and externally.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to systems hardware and software for local and off-site users.
  • Assists in the administration of e-mail systems, installation, configuration, and upgrade of computer hardware and software.
  • Screens, refers and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
  • Accomplishes risk analysis, security testing, and certification due to modifications or changes to computer systems.
Education/Certification Requirements:
  • HS/GED, 1 years of directly related experience supporting help desk operations or customer service.
  • Possess any of the following:
    • Valid DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification.
    • Valid CompTIA A CE CompTIA Network CE, CompTIA Security CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
    • Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)-Security.


Required Skills

  • Experience and working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming. (Apple, Windows, Google Enterprise, Slack, M365).
  • Experience and working knowledge of relevant compliance requirements - NIST and CMMC.
  • Experience and working knowledge of relevant technology, hardware and software as it pertains to the company and uses.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Google G-Suite to include Docs and Sheets, and MS Office Suite to include Word and Excel, and Slack.
