Job Details Level Experienced Job Location New York - New York City, NY Position Type Seasonal Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $3,200.00 - $3,400.00 Salary/month Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Any Job Category Education Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Summer Camp Coordinator for the Youth Program is responsible for organizing and maintaining the operational functions of the Teen Summer Camps, in-person and on-line, and to serve as a liaison and resource for campers, faculty and staff in the department's overall function. This position functions as the Office Manager for the Teen Summer Camps and provides assistance with the day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the overall program. Effective Date: Part Time: 06/10/24 to Seasonal Full Time: 06/17/24 - 08/14/24 New York Film Academy's Teen Summer Camps provide intensive programs in filmmaking, acting, screenwriting, musical theatre, documentary, and photography for campers of ages 14 to 17 years old. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The day-to-day duties required of this position may vary due to the fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Assist the Director of Teen Camps with Scheduling and overseeing of all Teen Summer Camps Online Programs.
Assist with the scheduling and coordinating of classes and programs
Assign classrooms in accordance with the class schedules on a daily basis
Responsible for upkeep of spreadsheets regarding valuable camper information such as: food allergies, medical insurance, and waivers
Assist with orientation and final screenings
Prepare and distribute copies on a needed basis
Assist with day to day contact with parents and campers in non-emergency situations
Obtain and organize attendance for each class
Create and organize google classrooms in support of the on-line summer camp programs
Distribute weekly schedules to instructors
Perform Receptionist duties and facilities support
Maintaining flexibility amongst competing priorities and last minute changes
Support Teen Office, TA Coordinator, Equipment Room, Post Department, Edit Lab and Residential Director
Assist with program start dates and graduation preparation
Assist with the build out before the program begins
Assist with the breakdown after the program ends
Organize and maintain Office supplies and materials
Provide in-class assistance on a needs basis
Respond to any inquiries by phone or email from campers, parents or staff in timely manner
Assist with other duties as assigned by Teen Camp Director, Assistant Director, or Senior Administration

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
High School/GED required.
Project Coordinator experience is preferred
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suites, Google Suites, Excel
Film/video production experience strongly preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced multi-tasking results driven environment with attention to detail.
Experience and comfortability with campers ages 14-17
