Responsibilities:
-MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MEDICAL OFFICE OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE
- Oversee the daily operations of a medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise staff, including training
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure time accuracy and availability
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes
- Collect copays and deductibles from patients
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards in handling patient information
-Familiarity with medication prior authorizations
-Familiary with Health Insurance verification
Skills:
- Healthcare management experience, preferably in a Primary Care clinic setting
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably ECW
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a medical office
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
