Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our medical equipment and instruments. Your attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and guidelines
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assemble instrument trays and packs for use in dental procedures
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including load contents, cycle times, and test results
- Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures at all times

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Proficiency in using CAD software for instrument tracking is a plus
- Experience with medical coding is an asset

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification as a Sterilization Technician is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
