NX Utilities is Hiring a Cable Installer Near Rapids, IA

Seeking individuals to install residential cable television, internet and phone services for Mediacom Cable in Cedar Rapids Iowa and surrounding areas.

Applicants must own a truck, van or SUV capable of transporting a 14/28 ft. fiberglass ladder.

Applicants must have a valid drivers license.

Applicants must pass a background check with a 10 yr felony limitation and a 5 yr misdemeanor limitation. (traffic violations do not count against applicants.)

Applicants must pass an initial drug screen.

This is a production based job working independently from others installing services in the homes of Mediacom's customers.

Pay is every week with a 2 week delay, meaning every Monday you are paid for the work you did 2 weeks ago.

Pay is direct deposited into a bank account of your choice every Monday afternoon. Pay averages between 750.00 to 1,200.00 per week depending on the individual, with many individuals making considerably more than that. We have current technicians that make between 1,500.00 and 2,000.00 a week. TOP TECHNICIAN IN 2020 BROUGHT HOME $86,000.00 (that is over 40 dollars and hour at a regular job)

No Experience is necessary. We will train candidates.

Candidates with prior experience - ask about advanced rate of pay

Every month receive a bonus of 5% to 10% of your previous months Gross pay. Sales bonuses are also available for individuals interested.

Work is 5 days a week with flexible scheduling options.

As a 1099 independent contractor any technician has the ability to work more than 5 days a week if they want to which would add again (considerably) to the above mentioned pay scales.

Tools and safety equipment provided at no cost to new technicians. $700.00 value.
