- Reporting to the Controller, the Indirect Budget Analyst is responsible for analysis and processing of incoming accounts payable expenditures and for budget creation and tracking, reviewing, recording, monitoring and reconciling financial transactions and providing in-depth financial analysis of expenditures.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately & timely
- Responsible for timely resolution of all invoice discrepancies
- Regularly research, analyze, and reconcile data for accuracy and trends
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor and track budget performance against targets
- Participates in the monthly closing process and prepares journal entries as needed to support closing and accurate analysis of actual performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights
- Review and monitor GL coding prior to payment issuance.
- Collaborate with management to ensure proper approvals are obtained timely
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations on balance sheet accounts
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Provide backup support for Finance team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and budget analyst skills
- Experience with accounts receivable and general accounting practices
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Must work well in a team-based environment
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
