Britz & Company is Hiring an Assembly Technician Near Sheridan, WY

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various components and products. This is a hands-on role that requires some problem-solving skills and the ability to read assembly drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly tasks according to specifications and on shop drawings.

- Must be able to conduct assigned activities within the amount of time allotted by work order and/or supervisor.

- Assists in Controls layout and equipment of assigned work area; recommends additional equipment/upgrades and implements process improvements.

- Assists in the designs and implementation of new jigs and fixtures for assembly tasks, either to improve existing products or for implementation of new products.

- Maintaining a safe, productive, and clean work area that promotes productivity and throughput.
- Fabricate parts using power tools and machining equipment such as drill press, iron worker, grinder, portable hand tools, tape measure...
- Test and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Experience:
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency in fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and power tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
