The Role:

Facilitates Engineering activities by assembling and organizing data, analyzing information, and recommending action. Assists with multiple complex construction projects by facilitating internal/external process requirements. Monitor project progress and follow-up as needed. Support Gas Supply and Engineering tasks.

Day to Day:
  • Manage large data sets, evaluate data, and research data irregularities. Resolve problems independently and engages others as needed. Recommend changes to pipeline system to facilitate pipeline integrity or Compliance Inspections. Suggest activities to manage and mitigate risk. Follow Federal guidelines while managing compliance work and meeting target dates. Devise methods to organize and present information used to evaluate and analyze Engineering needs.
  • Facilitate and coordinate construction orders for revision, replacement, Compliance, or abandonment of pipeline facilities. Prepare and obtain necessary applications and permits for projects through various jurisdictions.
  • Serves as coordinator in monitoring the progress of new risk mitigation projects and compliance work/projects; incorporates information from other departments in determining project status. Research records for abandonment and as-built information. Review completed construction and compliance documentation for accuracy. Assures records are appropriately stored and meet retention requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external utilities, engineering rms, governmental agencies, contractors, customers, and Company personnel to coordinate and resolve issues relating risk mitigation and compliance projects.
  • Performs annual reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Performs administrative duties related to contracts, regulatory filings, internal and external reports.
  • Assist with tracking of Departments Budgets and communicates with Engineers, Department Leads and Business Analytics team on Budget status.
  • Assist in managing technical documentation in alignment with federal guidelines.
  • Operate Company vehicles in compliance with State/Local laws and Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and attention to detail in performance of job tasks.
Come on your first day with:
  • Two-year college degree in a related technical discipline or professional certication or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in engineering support or utility operations required. Additional years' experience and proven advanced data analysis and reporting skills required for level 3.
  • Knowledge and understanding of natural gas piping systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering records, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and ability to understand and apply information from plats and drafting specications. Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and across department areas.
  • Proven skills in PC/computer mainframe systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Ability to meet deadlines including eective time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills including the ability to identify needs, evaluate and present results.
  • Possess/maintain a valid Oregon/Washington driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Base salary range:$70,700.00-$97,000.00(Level 2) or $77,050.00 - $105,750.00 (Level 3) per year, depending on qualifications

Annual Target Incentive: Level 2,7.5% target
Level 3, 9.5% target
Targets are calculated using eligible earnings during plan year participation. Payout, if earned, is based on company and individual performance for each plan year and may range from 0% - 200% of target. Targets are subject to change in subsequent plan years. Must be employed by September 30 in order to receive any prorated payout.
