Coffee Road Animal Hospital and Pet Resort was founded in 1991 and is a full-service veterinary practice located in Bakersfield, CA. We have a facility that is clean, comfortable, and efficient. During your externship, you will have the ability to gain critical exposure to basic surgical and dental procedures, along with proficiency in basic examinations and development of practical differential diagnoses. Client and staff communications along with appropriate medical record keeping techniques will be emphasized as well. In addition to the mentioned procedures, our extern program can offer unique exposure to the following:
