The Alaska Veterinary Clinic is the longest established veterinary practice in the state of Alaska, established in 1958 - before Alaska was even a state! We are blessed with 5 full time veterinarians and 5 full time Licensed Technicians. The majority of our lay staff has been with us for over 5 years. We strive to provide progressive and compassionate quality care along with exceptional client service and value. Our team's goal is to continually improve our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and expand our ability to provide the best care in Anchorage while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance. Our team is collaborative, and our hospital environment is friendly, welcoming and fun. We are fortunate to have a long term and well-established clientele who we have served for 3 to 4 generations. We see dogs, cats and exotics. Our practice focus is to provide the best preventative care by conducting thorough examinations, offering up to date diagnostics and treatment plans with special emphasis for treatment of Periodontal Disease. We also work closely with our local emergency hospitals and board-certified specialists (including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Dermatology, Critical Care, and Surgery) to strengthen continuity of care and provide our patients with the best treatment options available.
