We are looking for a dynamic General Manager of Hospital Operations to lead our incredible team at Animal Medical Center of Plainfield in IL!
This is an amazing opportunity to join our state-of-the-art brand new 13,000 sq ft facility with an incredible group of 14 Doctors and growing, 130 support staff, 20 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites and more!
Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is a BEAUTIFUL, truly one of a kind facility serving Plainfield, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Romeoville, and the surrounding communities. In addition to 24/7/365 comprehensive wellness care and emergency medicine, we provide additional care in orthopedics, laser therapy, and ultrasound diagnostics.
Ideal candidates for this role have extensive business operations experience developing and leading large scale teams of 100 staff, above average EQ, strategic financial acumen of P&L $13M , strong organizational and planning skills, high levels of customer service and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. While a background in the veterinary or human healthcare industry is ideal, it’s not required; open to innovative business operations leaders from retail, hospitality or other service and servant leadership related industries!

Job Summary
The hospital General Manager is an innovative leader and key member of the veterinary hospital leadership team. The General Manager (GM) partners with the Managing Veterinarian (MDVM) and hospital leadership team to lead an efficient and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs, while creating a hospital culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing, planning, and coordinating the overall operations of the hospital, and cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment with all department leads and staff. We are looking for an experienced industry visionary that can assist this high volume/high growth hospital with current and planned growth.
