NVA is Hiring a Facilities and Safety Manager Near Vancouver, WA
Description & Requirements
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Manage the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and buildings. Plan budget and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials, and other related costs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee all maintenance operations of medical facilities and residentialproperties.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors andcontractors.
- Plan and schedule maintenance programs, site enhancements, and newconstruction along with managing state and localpermits.
- Manage departmental staffrequirements.
- Develop policies and procedures for all facets of facilities control andmanagement.
- Prepare business continuity planning.
- Manage operationalbudgets.
- Administration of CMMSsoftware.
- Reporting all FM activities tomanagement.
- Initiate cost-saving programs and ensure maintenance requirements are performedin the most cost-efficientmanner.
- Perform other job duties asassigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Business/Engineering degreepreferred
- 5 years’ experience in commercial/residential building operations andmaintenance
- Strong oral and written communicationskills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentationskills
- Thorough knowledge of business software including maintenancemanagement software, graphical and CADdesign
- Knowledge of OSHArequirements

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
