Interconnection Distribution Grid Manager is responsible for obtaining approvals to connect renewable projects to electric distribution and transmission grids. 

Responsibilities

Interconnection Distribution Grid Manager Responsibillities-

• Evaluate, assess, and provide interconnection feasiblity studies.
• Conduct site assessments to determine existing system capabilities and capacities.
• Conduct research of agency webs to detemine interconnection requirements, incuding California Independent System Operator, Calfornia Investor owned utilities, co-operatives, and other authorized grid owners.
• Prepare interconnection agreements, submit, and process for approvals. 

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 10 years of utility experience related to grid management.
• Interconnection experience preferred.

The pay range for this California position is $200.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
