NV5’s Cary, NC office is seeking an entry level electrical designer to support our growing Planning and Design Group! The Electrical Designer I is responsible for designing portions of projects in their discipline. This person is assigned specific tasks on the project team and expected to use their education, experience, and other resources available to them to resolve the engineering problems and tasks assigned.The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of electrical design experience with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related degree such as an associate degree or trade school certification in electrical engineering, drafting, or electrical design. The ideal candidate would have experience in the design of pharmaceutical and laboratory facilities. Candidate will possess a working knowledge of the principles of electrical design and have prior experience with AutoCAD and Revit. The candidate should have reasonable computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
