Nuvve Holding Corp is Hiring a Sales Manager- Western Region Near San Diego, CA

 

Nuvve is seeking a Sales Manager to join our energetic growth focused team, taking sales to the next level in the West region. This candidate will prospect, establish, grow, and maintain long-term business relationships with our customer base, informing them of product updates, services, and/or incentives. This is an exciting opportunity for those seeking to be at the cutting-edge of vehicle electrification technology, while having an integral role in expanding Nuvve’s products.

This is a full-time position opportunity. The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the applicant's knowledge, skills, abilities and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role. This position may be eligible for a performance bonus in addition to base pay. Performance bonuses are designed to incentivize and reward achievement of sales quotas and metrics.  Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Be knowledgeable about the company’s products to address customer questions
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs, providing technical and application support
  • Develop and implement ongoing Sales Action Plan for assigned territory
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customers’ needs
  • Negotiate prices and terms to prepare quotes, contracts, and purchase orders
  • Closing deals and negotiating terms of sale, service agreements, and prices
  • Identify trends and relay to the Nuvve sales team
  • Routinely collect and compile intelligence regarding market and competition
  • Collaborate with the Nuvve sales team, providing input to improve current systems
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers
  • Manage expense account at appropriate level in timely manner

Qualifications

  • 5 years of professional experience in all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Customer service oriented and problem solver
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, intercultural skills, and selling abilities
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Must have a positive/can do attitude
  • Highly resourceful sales professional, with the demonstrated ability to be extremely effective independently
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to meet various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic groups
  • Be able to confidently present products, demos, and services in person and/or virtually to small-large size groups
  • Salesforce/CRM knowledge a plus
  • Travel required in specified territory 
  • Must be a team player and be able to collaborate with various departments in the company
  • Knowledge and/or experience in EV fleet/transportation/charging stations
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent
