NuVasive, Inc. is Hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist Near Columbia, MD
- Follows up with facilities to collect open billings in a timely manner and manages
- Understands and maintains all governmental, regulatory, and company billing and compliance regulations and policies for payers
- Reviews and accurately documents correspondence details
- Addresses denials and non-payments through problem-solving
- Identifies and reports to management any payer issues with regard to billing and collections
- Processes, documents, and transfers account receivables
- Reviews and completes assigned daily reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High level of quality awareness, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Data-oriented with basic proficiency in MS Office Applications, strong analytical skills, and the ability to create detailed reports
- Sense of urgency and customer-oriented mindset with an understanding of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance and Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle various priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required
- Prior medical billing experience preferred
