About the Job:
As a Staff Accountant at nuuds, you'll play a pivotal role in managing our day-to-day accounting operations alongside our Controller. From maintaining financial statements to overseeing accounts payable and revenue recognition, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our financial processes run seamlessly. Your expertise will be crucial in providing accurate and timely financial data to both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain accounting policies in line with GAAP standards
• Handle full cycle accounting procedures
• Manage accounts payable and revenue recognition processes efficiently
• Keep a keen eye on account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize on financial impacts
• Support in tax compliance efforts and financial reporting
• Assist in companywide budgeting and forecasting initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Experience with NetSuite ERP in the fashion and apparel industry
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Cashflow 360, Bill.com, Shopify, NetSuite, WMS, Asana, Expensify
