The Seed Accounting intern is a temporary position in the Seed Accounting Department designed for current college students in the accounting or finance field. Ideally, the candidate will work part-time during the school year and full-time through summer and school breaks. Schedule is flexible. The intern will chiefly assist in managing GL reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and working on departmental projects as needed.

What you will do:

• PreparingGL Account Reconciliation and supporting documentation
• Researching various accounting issues to determine the course of action needed to make adjustments or corrections
• Preparingcommunications as necessary to suppliers or field personnel
• Supplier statement coding

What you will bring:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance in process
• Working knowledge of Excel application and functions
• Strong integrity and business ethics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently manage schedule and priorities

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $18.56-23.04 USD per hour. This range is estimated for this position located in Loveland, CO. Actual rate and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide a benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary.
