Blending Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am

• Understands the blending systems and trains employees on the operations.
• Supervise the direct processing of materials and the associated hourly workforce to ensure attainment of key business results in areas of Safety, Quality, Testing, Cost, and Delivery to our Internal and External Customers.
• Effectively collaborate with, train, and manage a work team with specific responsibility for motivating others, ensuring performance, schedule execution, task coordination, equipment and area preparation and effective administration of SOP and personnel policies and procedures.
• Accountable for ensuring the correct materials are used according to the specific job order.
• Responsible for ensuring that all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
• Executes the production schedule as directed ensuring that rates and yields are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for overseeing room readiness and overseeing and ensuring proper sanitation of all blending rooms, pre-weigh rooms, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with team members in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and action plans.
• Support activities in the areas of cost containment, efficiency, productivity, energy conservation, waste minimization, operational excellence, and lean practices.
• Assist with development of projects to provide data to resolve issues regarding problematic blends/corrections.
• Ensure all procedures and work instructions are current and updated.
• Communicates within the Blending Department to ensure a cooperative environment is maintained; proper labor is allocated in accordance with workload.
• Manage conflict and effect resolution to technical and personnel challenges is key along with openness to change and the ability to effect positive change.
• Provide assistance to new product development and the production of; be able to think outside the box using unconventional strategies to achieve business goals.
• Demonstrate integrity, credibility, and flexibility in their daily performance so as to motivate others to do the same.
