Job Summary Better Being is looking for a Facilities Support Specialist (Wash Room) to perform manual cleaning and sanitizing of materials including but not limited to buckets, barrels, plastic pallets, and utensils. Essential Functions Operate the barrel washing machine. Clean machines and equipment as directed to ensure proper working order. Manual cleaning of assorted filling and batching equipment parts. Responsible for the general organization and cleaning of the wash room. Self-starter, needing little supervision. Miscellaneous facilities repairs. Additional Responsibilities Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
