Nutcracker is looking for a Material Handler for an estimated 6 months contract. This position is onsite in our Emeryville office.

Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving activities including package checking and physical movement to required locations
• Accurately handle transactions and physical movement of material in and out of the facilities
• Shipping support, including the creation of mailing labels, processing, and coordinating shipments
• Packing and tracking shipments to completion
• Assist in all material movement and transactions
• Responsible for maintaining a clean warehouse
• Support defining processes for material receiving, material movements and shipping
• Support system implementation for inventory & distribution management
• On-site Attendance is an essential duty of this position
• May perform other duties as required

• Relevant work experience as a Material Handler required
• 3 years experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience in a bio-tech, pharma company preferred

The expected range for this role is $25 to $35 per hour, based on candidate experience, education, location, and other job-related factors. Contract employees may be eligible for certain benefits through a 3rd party staffing/payroll company.
