The inclusive NuStep recumbent cross trainer is designed for a wide range of users, from the physically fit to those with mobility limitations. Basic Function
Operation of model shop equipment to fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of machine set ups and operation.
Design and/or fabricate fixtures, tooling, equipment, prototypes, etc. from blueprints, sketches, or concepts.
Create, adjust and modify CNC program and robotic welding program
Complete preventive maintenance and repairs of manufacturing equipment at the required frequency. Assist service personnel as required. Responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance program.
Perform facility maintenance and manage facility improvements
Work to tight tolerances as required. Select speeds, feeds, tools, materials, etc. to meet the requirements of the task.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Quality departments.
Assist in recommending changes in methods, materials, production flow, equipment, fixtures, etc. to enhance the overall product quality, to reduce/eliminate non-value added activity, or increase safety. Focus on continuous improvement.
Write, maintain, and adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Operate within and work to improve the overall quality management system.
Assist with problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action.
Monitor and maintain the inventory of Model Shop supplies as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Manufacturing experience within an ISO registered organization or equivalent helpful.
Experience with prototype fabrication, fabrication equipment, manufacturing equipment, and machine shop equipment required.
Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and processes required.
Experience with CNC programming and robotic welding preferred
2-5 years’ previous experience in a similar setting preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
