Nuru Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Behavioral Health Technician- Training Available! Near Everett, WA

10 - 40 hours per week. We will assist you with getting certified for this role.

We are seeking a Certified Behavior Technician to join our team. The Certified Behavior Technician will work in-home one-on-one with individuals, particularly children, with developmental disabilities or autism under the supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based interventions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help children achieve their life skills, social and emotional goals designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Responsibilities:

- Implement evidence-based ABA interventions under the supervision of a BCBA

- Collect and record data on individual progress, communicate with BCBAs, and participate in ongoing training and professional development

- Assist in skill acquisition programs

- Provide direct one-on-one instruction to individuals

- Conduct crisis intervention when necessary

- Maintain client confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines

-Use positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques to teach individuals new skills and reduce challenging behaviors

Experience:

- Experience in Working with people with developmental disabilities or autism (Preferred)

- Knowledge of ABA principles (Preferred)

- Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in working with people with developmental disabilities and autism

- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
