NurseRecruiter, LLC is Hiring a Clinical Director RN Near Leawood, KS

As the Clinical Director of Nursing at our client's Kansas facility, you play a pivotal role in supervising, managing, and coordinating the entirety of nursing operations. Guided by the VP of Operations, your duties revolve around enforcing regulatory compliance and upholding the standards of the Clinical Director of Nursing position. A sign-on bonus is provided.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 1 years of experience in Home Health Care
  • 2 years of experience in Healthcare Administration
  • 1 years of experience with Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS)
  • 1 years of experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB)
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas (KS)

Preferred:

  • RN License number

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and direct ongoing agency functions
  • Act as a liaison between the governing body and staff
  • Employ qualified personnel based on job descriptions
  • Provide orientation and education programs for staff
  • Maintain personnel records, administrative records, and agency policies and procedures
  • Ensure completion, maintenance, and submission of required reports and records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable rules and regulations
  • Designate a qualified staff member to act in the absence of the administrator

Qualification Requirements:

  • Effective leadership ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Good clinical judgment and accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education and/or Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with experience in healthcare administration
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
  • Knowledge of business management
  • At least one (1) year of homecare experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Must maintain RN license in good standing

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
  • May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Must be in general good health and obtain a negative tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray upon employment
