What would you do in this role?

As a X-Ray Technologist, you would provide information to diagnose patient illnesses, by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. You would prepare patients for radiological procedures through proper positioning and image techniques, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.

• maintain competency in general x-ray procedure and technique.
• Follow all radiology policies and procedures relative to obtaining images, ordering supplies, preparing and operating the equipment, evaluating images for technical quality, clerical function and maintaining patient records.
• Responsible for communication of test results to Physician/Provider and nursing staff.
• Assist the physicians and nurses in ensuring patients needs are fully met.
• May need to participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.

Requirements:

• Associates degree from radiologic technology program or equivalent military training.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology/ARRT and state license.
• CPR and BLS certification preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• X-Ray: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• ARRT Certification (Preferred)
• Radiologic technologist License in Maryland (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Catonsville, MD (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Catonsville, MD: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
