We are seeking Certified Midwife Nurse Practitioner candidates for an OB/GYN Clinic located in Western Massachusetts. Position Type: Full-time, benefits eligible Hours/shift/ Any calls: M-F office, weekday and weekend call, depends on one or two midwifes. Sign on bonus/applicable relocation: yes Patient to nurse ratio? We deliver about 100 or so babies a year and have 2 OBs and 2 nurse midwives. Looking to hire a 3rd OB. We also see all women s health patients, not just pregnant women. The best candidate is someone that has experience in a small community hospital but also has office experience in women s health. Job Description: We are seeking Midwife Nurse Practitioner to join a growing OB/GYN office client located in the heart of the Berkshires. The Certified Nurse Midwife provides specialized nursing services in areas that may include women s health, family planning, labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. The CNM s duties will be performed under the general supervision of the CMO. The CNM will work in close collaboration with the hospital s labor and delivery department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: other duties may be assigned Education and/or Experience: A master s degree in nursing, and completion of a state acceptable nurse practitioner s program are required. A minimum of one year s experience is preferred. National certification in specialty is preferred.
