Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Nurse Practitioner to join an outpatient health center specializing in reproductive health!

This organization provides universal access to sexual and reproductive health care for all who seek it. They provide medically accurate sex education and access to stigma-free abortion.

Position Details:

Working under the medical supervision of the Medical Director and day to day supervision by the Health Center Manager, the provider will act as the primary provider of medical services for male and female patients. The provider will carry full responsibility for the initiation and maintenance of patients in family planning, as well as other aspects of comprehensive clinical services. The provider will advocate for the empowerment of all people to make their own private reproductive health care decisions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Take, record, and interpret medical and social history of patients
• Perform appropriate screening procedures for male and female patient examinations - this includes STD investigation, cytological smears, and other types of more specialized screening procedures
• Examine patients for proper use of contraceptives

Qualifications:

• Current State of Montana License
• Previous experience in reproductive health
• Current DEA with prescriptive authority
• Current CPR
