OVERVIEW:
Nugget, a direct-to-consumer kids furniture brand, is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to help provide leadership and managerial support to our amazing production team! This role will be key in developing, coaching and motivating our Production team members, providing direct oversight of Nugget product quality and integrity, and will help drive production efficiency to ensure we are continuing to meet and exceed our business goals! ABOUT THIS ROLE:

• You'll be responsible for supervising a medium-sized team (~15 to 20) of Production Associates, including providing ongoing development, feedback, and coaching, as well as conducting performance reviews and administering disciplinary action when required
• You'll be responsible for ensuring production goals are being met, while maintaining quality standards
• You'll conduct 1:1's and performance reviews for each employee on your team, with a focus on providing feedback regarding competencies, alignment with Nugget core values, and individual performance
• You'll partner with our Process Engineers and Production Coordinators to assign daily roles for each employee, based on business needs
• You'll maintain Time & Attendance records for employees - including tracking and approving PTO requests, approving timecards, and resolving any timecard issues
• You'll contribute to the development and implementation of SOPs and ensure that they are being followed
• You'll partner with the other Production Supervisor to organize and facilitate team meetings on a regular basis
• You'll identify areas of opportunity and knowledge gaps across the team, and partner with Production Coordinators to schedule and facilitate training
• You'll work closely with our Manufacturing Engineers to assist in the tracking of KPI's, data, and metrics that will help increase overall efficiency and productivity
• You'll jump in and work alongside your direct reports on occasion, demonstrating teamwork, efficiency, attention to detail, and positivity

ABOUT YOU:

• You have at least 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bonus: You are bilingual in Spanish and English!
• You have experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams, and have multiple examples of how you have provided feedback and coaching to team members, helping them achieve individual and company goals
• You have experience troubleshooting basic manufacturing equipment and processes, and are comfortable partnering with engineers and technicians to resolve issues
• You have experience using Microsoft Excel, and have a demonstrated ability to build and navigate spreadsheets and databases
• You are passionate about building relationships and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all employees
• You consistently achieve results, maintain a strong bottom-line orientation, and push yourself and your team when setting production goals
• You enjoy problem-solving, have experience resolving difficult or complicated challenges, and are comfortable working with math and data analytics
• You can handle conflict situations effectively, working out tough agreements and settling disputes equitably by integrating diverse views and finding common ground or acceptable alternatives
• You understand how to motivate and empower your team, creating a climate where each individual feels their contributions are important and understands how they are helping the company achieve its objectives
• You are skilled at building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals, creating a feeling of belonging and strong team morale
• You can provide direction, delegate, and remove obstacles for your team, providing appropriate guidance and direction based on people's capabilities
