How can you grow with Nufarm?
Based in Alsip, IL, Nufarm is looking for a Network Inventory – Material Flow Manager who will be responsible for the tactical and strategic inventory management and control of all network warehouses within the Nufarm North American Region (US & Canada). The Network Inventory – Material Flow Manager delivers excellence in inventory accuracy and material flow while ensuring all internal and external audit requirements are met. Main accountability is to maintain a high level of accuracy for $350M in inventory through monthly reconciliations of Nufarm’s public and dedicated warehouse network. This is accomplished through rigorous cycle count program oversight and leading physical inventories of key locations. Further responsibilities include network inventory and material flow process standardization and governance of 3PL warehouse management systems.
What will you be doing?
Daily inventory oversight for all network warehouses across the US/Canada (16 as of October 2023)
Responsibility for driving KPI adherence against all cost, service, inventory targets.
Focus on implementing/managing a monthly cycle count program to comply with audit requirements.
Key resource for all network inventory management programs including physical inventories.
SOP development and maintenance for all inventory processes
Root/Cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and corrective action initiated.
Help other sites as needed with inventory issues/implement solutions to discovered issues/discrepancies.
Ensures all WMS/ERP/EDI errors are reconciled within set SLA’s.
Partner with Planning teams on Inventory management within the network (audits, physical inventories, enhance controls)
Creates and maintains network Oracle Sub-Inventory and warehouse locations while maintaining consistency throughout all network ORGs.
Manages new/existing users in Oracle software.
Backup for Warehouse Lead when out of the office
Ensure safety in everything we do
Accountable to annual GPS goals and development plans
Oracle portals setup and managed for eligible network locations.
Cost savings through sustainable continuous improvement & regional projects focused on savings.
Set the inventory strategy for NA related to targets for accuracy, variances, etc.
Provide analysis, insight and predictive measures into inventory performance and business impact.
Functional expert for inventory that helps standardize processes such as Month End process, inventory reporting and accurate consumptions, IRA plant program improvements.
Material flow ownership through defined KPI’s.
Other duties are performed under the guidance and direction of the HSE Director, North America.
What do you bring?
You hold a high school/GED degree along with two (2) years or more administrative and clerical support experience required. Additionally, you have deep expertise in inventory management and control principles. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with external suppliers.
