As Nuestro Mundo continues to grow every school year, we are looking for an energetic and nurturing full-time teacher for the 4th grade English side. How does Nuestro Mundo's 50/50 language program work? At the elementary level, we have two clases per grade, in this case 4A and 4B and two teachers, one in the English side and one in the Spanish side. If you, as the English teacher start with 4A, that means the Spanish teachers starts with 4B and around mid day you swap. We do not teach English/ Spanish as second languages- we teach all content areas in both languages. We do not repeat lessons in the opposite language- we build upon lessons in both languages.
