Related Job Duties:
- Reads packaging lists and performs work as assigned by department supervisor or foreman.
- Lifts, stacks and packs overhead garage doors, track, hardware, openers and/or assemblies.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages and include correct shipping documents
- Uses hands or equipment in the movement of garage doors, hardware or related products.
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Place finished and packaged goods in the proper area and/or trailer for shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other reasonably related duties as assigned. (This is a heavy lifting position)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year of previous general labor and/or customer service experience.
- 2 years of previous experience in manufacturing, operating heavy machines, punch tooling, and hand tools, and have mechanical aptitude.
