Nubble Site Solutions along with its sister companies, Precision ProFile, and SiteBoss, are three small businesses with shared ownership based out of Southern Maine. We provide GPS and other construction machine control solutions to earthwork contractors.
Over the past couple years we set out to develop our own GPS rover solution. With the recent successful launch of our SiteBoss rover we are looking to add a Software Developer Manager with Kotlin based Android App experience. This one month contract will pay $10,000 assuming salable, on-time, proven results. Full-time contract salary will be offered after one month contract is complete strictly based on results and will range from $120-150k/year. As Software Developer Manager, you will be working closely with our Lead Software Developer to lead the team in development implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of our Kotlin based GPS Construction Android App. This position is in person, you must be willing to relocate or commute to our office in York, ME. • Manage team of 3 developers to ensure timely completion of app build list action items, and launches of software/product updates
• Continue to develop, debug, and maintain a GPS focused Android App using Kotlin.
• Communicate with manager and owners on creating websites & apps that conceptualizes their creative ideas.
• Track site activity and produce reports/communicate ideas on how/where to improve.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and responsiveness of Application.
• Maintain any outside technical issues given by the company.
• Design, develop, manage, and maintain the company websites, with SEO in mind.
• Hours are from 7:00AM to 4:00PM.

• Must be proficient in Kotlin or Java and Javascript.
• Understanding of RTK GPS and RTK GPS-related concepts is a plus.
• Capable of back-end site support, processing, and wizard development.
• Proven Software Developer Management experience
• Proven working experience in Android App Development using Android Studio.
• Knowledge and experience in Graphic/Web Design, SEO experience, marketing, and social media is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic networking principles, internet protocol, and web services and APIs.
• Capable of professional business communication, including emails, meetings, and general office etiquette.
• Must be a Team Player, Self-Motivated, Reliable, Responsible, and Professional. Must be capable of following instructions (even if they ultimately contradict your proposed direction).
• Compensation is dependent on education level and will be performance/production based. Bonus's may be awarded for project completion.
