nuArch is seeking a proficient and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, but the applicant must reside in the United States.

This position is open to both W2 and C2C candidates, with a preference for C2C. It is a contract opportunity, initially set for 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be tasked with developing, configuring, and improving the ServiceNow platform to streamline and automate business processes. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the functionality, usability, and effectiveness of the ServiceNow system to support various IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions including customization of core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
• Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, UI actions, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other business systems using REST and SOAP web services.
• Create and refine automation scripts to automate routine tasks within ServiceNow, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual errors.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed functionalities to ensure reliability and performance according to specifications.
• Manage ServiceNow system upgrades, patches, and ensure the system is running on the latest version with optimal configurations.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements, deliver solutions, and provide operational support and guidance.
• Document all technical solutions within ServiceNow and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for internal teams.
• Stay abreast of ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including experience with ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development technologies.
• Strong experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow platforms.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services for integration purposes.
• Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, report findings, and contribute to discussions.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
