Nth Degree is a small and busy locally-owned and operated construction/remodeling/real estate company, serving the greater Columbus area for 20 years. We are looking for a full-time, experienced, reliable, hardworking, and highly skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various residential construction and renovation projects, ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and exceeding client expectations, as well as according to safety guidelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials
• Perform plumbing, mechanical and electrical tasks
• Perform basic framing
• Operate hand and power tools
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Must be able to physically exert oneself over a long period of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads, including equipment.
• Must hold a valid OH Driver’s License.
• Must have reliable transportation within Columbus, OH.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or related field is required
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
• Ability to work well in a team environment

PHYSICAL:

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate construction tools and equipment. Must be able to pick up and carry 60 lb. content items. Familiar with safe handling and use of manual and power construction tools.

Education - High school or equivalent

Salary - Competitive salary based on experience ($28-40 per hour).
