NTG is Hiring an Emergency Room Nurse Near St. Louis, MO

The Registered Nurse (RN) administers the fundamentals of the nursing process by adhering to existing policies, procedures, and nursing care standards, contributes to nursing assessment and the development of nursing care plans, and participates in the ongoing evaluation of nursing care.

Other Key Duties / Responsibilities

● Obtains and documents nursing history from patients and/or significant others that is comprehensive of present condition and prior problems.

● Performs patient assessments, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology; records vital signs, notes changes, and pursues more-specific investigations as needed.

● Identifies abnormal diagnostic data and shows a fundamental understanding of its implications by reporting information to the physician and others caring for the patient, and by incorporating information in the nursing care plan.

● Reviews and uses care plans as the basis for providing safe and therapeutic care to patients.

● Includes and communicates with the patient and his/her/their family and other members of the healthcare team in carrying out the goals of the care plan.

● Evaluates and notes the patient’s response to nursing care defined in the nursing care plan and medical records.

● Accepts accountability for clinical care of assigned patients, and assumes responsibility for ongoing professional development/growth.

● Performs other related duties as assigned.

Salary: $1,900.00 per week
