• W2 Contract, 12 Months (Likely Extension / Possible Conversion)
• While this position is primarily remote, candidates must be comfortable working onsite in downtown Houston, TX for “moments that matter” – which is usually once per month.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Web Developer to join the Customer Fulfillment & Marketing Operations Team – which is responsible for processing all customer notices (Invoices, Bills, Renewals, Drops, Marketing Materials etc.) that are sent to Residential and Commercial customers that use Gas and Power services. The organization is currently in the process of transitioning from a PP7 to Connect – file management solutions. The templates that are used for these customer notices, invoices, letters, and marketing materials are housed in PP7, and must be developed and tested to ensure conversion to Connect is fluid and accurate. The Web Developer will partner with a Principal of Project Initiatives on this project. The Web Developer will be using web development technologies (JavaScript & HTML) to modify existing web templates and create new web templates so they comply with Connect configuration. Furthermore, the Web Developer will be leveraging testing experience (developing test cases) to QC these templates and customer documentation at various stages of development to ensure requirements are aligned during this system transition. Secondarily to the web development, this individual will also be responsible for leveraging SQL skills to write new SQL queries and run existing SQL queries in an effort to pull data from various systems, which will ultimately be leveraged for reporting purposes within Power BI and Salesforce.
Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience.
• Skilled in web development leveraging JavaScript and HTML.
• Skilled in writing new SQL queries and running existing SQL queries to pull data from systems/databases.
• Experience in IT testing to include participating in test cases processes.
• Ability to navigate through large volumes of data.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience using web development technologies to develop documentation templates.
• Experience creating reports in Power BI.
• Experience creating reports in Salesforce.
• Experience working within a file management system such as PP7 or Connect.
