- W2 Contract, 12 months
- This position is fully remote. The office is located in Denver, CO.
- This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
Overview
Our client is seeking a GIS Technician to join their team. The GIS Technician will be responsible for making maps, customized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications and manipulating data to serve a variety of purposes. They will read and interpret maps, manipulate and understand digital land data and manage data entered into a GIS database.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and software.
- Proficiency in creating maps and customized GIS applications.
- Strong skills in spatial analysis and the ability to interpret maps effectively.
- Experience in manipulating and analyzing digital land data
- Proficient in manipulating and managing data within a GIS database
- Familiarity with GIS software and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other relevant platforms.
- Strong attention to detail in data entry, map creation, and GIS analysis.
- GIS experience in an electrical utility environment.
