Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Designer to collaborate with engineers on solar, EV, microgrid, and clean energy projects. As a Senior Designer, you will play a crucial role in the accuracy and integrity of design drawings for system protection and control. This position involves checking/updating drawings, executing any back corrections, and submitting drawings for approval.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 5-10 years of experience with drafting and design in the power industry.
- 3 years experience working directly with designing in a specific civil engineering discipline including the ability to verify system configurations by performing field walk downs.
- Previous experience in the electric/utility sector.
- Demonstrated experience in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and software.
- Proficiency in creating maps and customized GIS applications.
- Strong skills in spatial analysis and the ability to interpret maps effectively.
- Ability to verify system configurations by performing field walk downs.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
