Terms of Employment

• W2 Contract, 12 months
• This position is hybrid. The incumbents will be required to report to the office in Washington D.C. 3 times per week.

Overview

Our client is seeking an Engineer II to join the technical engineering and design team focused on the system health of the distribution system, covering areas between DC, PG, and MC. This team has expertise in addressing reliability concerns and corrective maintenance, and they possess comprehensive knowledge to enhance the distribution system's health. Responsibilities include developing reliability solutions and statements of work for remediation, supporting field operations, presenting scopes at the Service Request Steering Committee, providing real-time on-call operations support, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs).

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of experience.
• Familiar with electric distribution systems, overhead and/or underground.
• Proficient in PowerBI, SharePoint, GIS, and Asset Suite 8.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of reliability metrics
• Knowledge of 4-wire guidelines and OH, URD, UG, and LVAC workings.
• Knowledge of Maryland High Voltage Act, NESC, NEC, and IEEE guidelines.
