Description
Operation of various hand tools and equipment to construct window units
Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
Movement of carts in and out of production work area
Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units
Offloading insulated glass units to carts
Ability to read and understand written work instructions
Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Minimum of one (1) year experience in window & door manufacturing preferred but not required
Minimum of one (1) year experience in industrial manufacturing required.
Possesses the ability to understand and communicate
Ability to read a tape measure
Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail
Possesses a high degree of organizational skill
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some overtime and weekends
Ability to read and understand reports
Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
Capable of using computerized equipment
Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time in a non temperature controlled environment
Shift Requirements:
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (8 Hours)
Overtime including weekends is occasionally required
