Description of Position Northeastern State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the College of Business and Technology. Candidate must have an earned doctorate degree in accounting with preferred experience in teaching in hybrid, online or cohort learning environments. The right faculty will be able to teach any of the accounting courses needed at the undergraduate or graduate level and may also have the possibility of teaching courses in finance-related areas. In addition to teaching, this position involves student recruitment. The right candidate will be active in connecting with industry. The person will also be expected to find and meet with prospective students from high schools, community colleges, returning students from industry and through social media. While based on the Tahlequah campus, the faculty member may be assigned to teach classes and hold meetings as needed on the Broken Arrow campus, on Zoom or online.
