What you’ll do!

Our Financial Aid Solutions Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff performing
verification for partner schools. Working in collaboration with the Director, this individual will monitor
reports, analyze trends, provide direction to the Verification team and ensure development needs
are met through monitoring, coaching and feedback. This individual works closely with the team to
ensure training is provided, updated policies and procedures are communicated and learning
objectives are measured and achieved.
The ideal candidate has financial aid experience and an understanding of the federal verification
process. The individual must be able to offer suggestions for improvement to the verification process
regarding policies and procedures and monitor system performance reporting any concerns to the
Financial Aid Solutions Director. Further, the ideal candidate has an innovative mindset to create
new, effective solutions, strong interpersonal skills and a knack for building relationships and
fostering successful teamwork.

What you’ll need!

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a four-year College or university or equivalent
combination of education and work experience in financial aid including supervision of staff.
  • Background in financial aid industry and familiarity with federal verification regulations
preferred.
  • A detailed understanding of the financial aid process is nice to have!
  • Knowledge of Federal Program Reviews and Audits and familiarity with Student Information

Systems (SIS), including Ellucian Banner/Datatel, PowerFAIDS, PeopleSoft, CampusVue,
Jenzabar and Department of Education software is helpful (FAA Access, ED Connect, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in
writing.
  • Previous experience working in a financial aid office that offered Title IV programs preferred.
  • Skilled leadership and team-building skills which focus on developing talent, facilitating new
opportunities and leveraging professional development to support colleagues.
  • Position is located in Lincoln, NE; employee must reside within driving distance of our office
location.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
