Financial Controller Internship

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly-skilled, detail-oriented Financial Controller Intern who excels at multitasking. This role will act as a point of contact between the different parts of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and external parties, such as vendors, clients, or lenders. They may handle bookkeeping, assist in preparing financial reports, taxes, and audits, and resolving discrepancies. You should be analytical, collaborative, and trustworthy.

Key Missions will include:

• Reports to the Controller.
• Working with other departments to compile, analyze, and report financial data.
• Preparing weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports.
• Assisting with identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Using ERP and entering information into company files or databases, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate.
• Assisting in Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory controls.
• Assisting with new projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem resolution and time management skills. Persistence in meeting deadlines is key.
• Outstanding positive attitude with the ability and willingness to effectively work within a team environment. This is Key.
• Strong data entry and reporting skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and comprehend various processes and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with an accounting system such as SAP Business One or other ERP is a plus.
• Interest in health, wellness, and natural/organic foods.
• Somebody that is proactive and is not afraid to make decisions. 

Required Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Global Business Management.
• A Master’s degree is a plus - GAP year students will not be considered
• Must have professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
