Job Description Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Institutional Research Analyst. The Institutional Research Analyst will perform quantitative analysis, develop assessment tools, and complete reporting to federal, state, accreditation, and other external and internal agencies in a timely manner. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare data for mandatory and non-mandatory state, federal, and accreditation reports. Prepare data for internal institutional reporting needs (e.g. program review). Validate institutional data ensuring integrity of various data sets. Conduct research and data analysis. Maintain a reporting calendar and stay current on reporting requirements. Maintain frequently-used data reports for internal and external stakeholder. Assist the IE team with relevant projects as needed. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in STEM or social science field . Evidence of proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Access, SQL, R, SPSS, SAS). 1 year of experience. Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas). Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in science or social science field. Experience with SQL Server. Experience with data analytics. Experience in data visualization. Familiarity with current Common Data Sets (CDS) to generate baseline reports/repositories. Salary & Benefits Budgeted salary for this position is $62,400.00.
